Welcome to my musical world! I am John Sanders, professional songwriter. I am also a miracle standing before the world. Here is why.

The year: 2014. The place: my hometown in Orange County, California. I was 64 and retired since 2012. I began to feel serious physical difficulties in focusing, speaking, calculating and remembering things.

My doctor had me go through some lab tests. Seeing the results, the lab technician called right away and urged me to check into the nearby hospital as soon as possible. There I was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma, a killer skin cancer, whose many tumors had spread throughout my brain and lungs. I was given six to eight months to live. Whoa!

So, fast forward. Here it is 2026, and I am still living. Free of cancer. Every time I have mentioned this to medical professionals, each one would be astonished and say: “Yes, you ARE a miracle!”

I humbly owe this true miracle to faith, a new treatment launched in 2014, and the love and grace of God.

Since then I have often pondered why Heavenly Father chose to extend my life, till now, for twelve years. I have recognized one clear purpose for this extension: the opportunity to put together songs from the melodies, themes and poetry which had danced around my heart and mind as I lived through the several adult phases of life.

You may ask: “Why did it take you so long to settle in and write out the songs?” Short answer: the right time in my life to do it had not come around until 2014. Since then I have worked diligently to compose the dozens of songs that burst out, and to share them with the world.

Indeed, the time to present those songs is now. Herein you will find ten of them, professionally recorded and released for you to hear and consider buying.
